In the forest, our ranger looks after four special creatures - Red Squirrel, Pine Martin, Badger and Owl, plus a few extras. These creatures present the facts and figures of why the care of woods has always been so important to us. In six hilarious scenarios The Gang get stuck into the themes of environment, sustainability, climate change, recycling, forest management and much else.
Now approaching its 10th birthday, Forest Creatures keeps adapting to changing issues and maintains a strong sense of humour as well as purpose. There isn’t a more engaging way to present topical issues for tree folk.

Puppetry is a fantastically rich hybrid art form which bridges the gap between visual and performance arts. A puppet is not an actor and a puppet theatre is not human theatre.

The Puppet Lab is a pioneering, dynamic arts charity based in Edinburgh. Its projects range from first-class children’s theatre to experimental performances involving architecture and objects. The collective talents of puppeteers, performers, artists and sculptors who collaborate with us on our projects can stretch the boundaries of our imagination to almost anywhere.
