Although only in their teens, Laura and Sara have each been Highland dancing for over 12 years. Trained at the Beattie School of Dancing, run by Sara's grandmother Maude Young, both Laura and Sara have participated in various competitions and performed widely.
Laura's interests extend to other forms of dance, such as national, Charleston and country dance while Sara is a teacher of the younger dancers in her school.
The summer of 2007 saw Laura and Sarah dancing in Latvia as part of a programme of cultural exchange between Angus and the Baltic State.
