Barbara Robertson

Born in Broughty Ferry, Barbara trained at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, specialising in Printmaking and illustration, and was awarded a major travelling scholarship by the Scottish Educational Department. Her prints are in the Public Collections of Glasgow, Aberdeen, Stirling, tayside and Leeds, and in private collections around the world.

Barbara has exhibited widely in the UK and abroad. The various books she has illustrated include Sea-Green Ribbons and The Oath Takers by Naomi Mitchison. Her images are striking and often witty and are printed from blocks of linoleum using the reduction technique.
