Adam McNaughtan has been variously reviewed as a ‘Glasgow institution’
and a ‘national treasure’. Involved in the Folk Revival since the late
1950s as singer, researcher and songwriter, and for the last 20 years
part of the highlyrespected group Stramash, his songs include The Jeelie
Piece Song and Oor Hamlet. His current solo repertoire features Scottish
ballads, historical Glasgow material and recently written songs.
