City of Brechin Mercury Signs and Designs Pipe Band

Brechin Pipe Band has a long and glorious history and its members are proud to represent the City of Brechin at events all over the UK. 2007 has been a particularly active and successful year. In competition the band, having played at Grade 4A, was promoted to Grade 3B. It also received new kilts made from a ‘City of Brechin’ tartan designed by band member Paul McAndrew. The tartan will be worn for the first time at
the World Piping Championships on 11 August in Glasgow. www.cityofbrechinpipeband.co.uk
