The haunting vocals of Celtic super-group Capercaillie. Karen Matheson’s many awards include an OBE given in the 2006 New Year’s Honours List. As a solo performer she has recorded three albums and has been involved in various projects of collaboration including the award-winning BBC series Transatlantic Sessions where she recorded tracks with such artists as Emmylou Harris, Nanci Griffith and Rufus Wainright.
