George Mitchell is a former primary-school teacher who was born,
brought up and
worked in Brechin. His history-related interests are wide and
include steam railways,
vintage buses and local history, particularly the history of
Brechin. A committee
member of Brechin Probus Club, the Friends of Brechin Town-House
Museum and the
City of Brechin Civic Trust, he makes time in an extremely active
retirement to reveal
the fascinating story of Brechin’s past in his Historic Walks.
