The Alba String Quartet

Comprising four young Scottish musicians - Liam Lynch and Stewart Webster (violins), Hannah Craib (viola) and Robert Anderson (cello) - the Alba String Quartet perform regularly throughout the UK, with recent engagements including a week-long residency at St Andrews University. Since their formation in 2003 the quartet have recorded for the BBC and broadcast a New Year concert on Hungarian television. As inaugural recipients of the Enterprise Music Scotland two-year scholarship, they work closely with William Conway.

Quintet Zambra

Quintet Zambra is a dynamic group whose aim is to bring more-unusual as well as familiar repertoire for wind quintet to audiences across Scotland. By using different combinations from within the quintet, and on occasion collaborating with other instrumentalists, they enjoy further broadening their repertoire. The group’s members are not only dedicated chamber-music performers but are also skilled orchestral players who have played in orchestras such as the RSNO and Scottish Opera Orchestra. www.quintetzambra.wetpaint.com
