Babette Gemmel

Although French and born in France Babette has spent most of her life abroad. She moved to England and made it her home, working mainly in the film and fashion industry until she met her husband and came to live in Scotland. When she began receiving tuition in sculpture from Peter Graham in 2002 she fulfilled a longstanding wish. Her work varies greatly, from life-size portraits to animals to images from the mind
